Everyone is getting so excited about the news, our predicted grades can now be used and loads of students can now meet their uni offers.
But what about the students from low socio-economic backgrounds where a gap year isn't possible?
I'm a black students, at a state comp, from one of the poorest London boroughs.
My first choice uni course is now full. They can only offer me a place for 2021 but I can't afford to take a gap year and I know many others are in the same boat.
So, what do we do?
It seems so unfair to have to accept a back-up option, a second choice all because of our family situation.
So whilst this is good news, it still isn't the answer. The government have caused so much stress and that stress is still very real.
